Brief Answer:
no known interactions

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are no known interactions between prednisone and potassium supplements.

Prednisone and other similar steroids have the potential to cause levels of potassium to decrease due to increased loss of the potassium in the kidneys.

The levels may not drop to very low levels in everyone especially if the steroids are only used for a short period of time.

There are different potassium supplements available and your doctor may also want to occasionally check your potassium levels to make sure that they are neither too low or too high (because of supplements).
Too high potassium is also dangerous.

In terms of the dose: The dose is often individualised depending on the current potassium levels ,other medications used but in general the dose is approximately 20 mq a day usually taken in 1 or 2 doses.

Summary: no known interaction

dose- 20 mq a day/ in one or two doses

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
