Is TSH Level Of 5 A Cause For Concern?

Brief Answer:
Upload the test report.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,
Thanks for writing to us.
Normal TSH level in first trimester of pregnancy is 0.6 - 3.4 mIU / L. Your TSH report is slightly HIGHER than normal value.
I have to review other parameters also like T3 and T4 (both Total and free). Kindly, upload or attach the test report to interpret and give proper guideline.
I will be looking forward for your response and report.
Regards,
Upload the test report.

Doctor, my T3 is 1.57 and T 4 is 10.5.
Brief Answer:
Antibody to TPO should be done for correct dose.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for your information.
According to test value, it is mostly suggestive of Subclinical Hypothyroidism. In this case, T3 and T4 levels are normal whether TSH level is raised.
I suggest you to undergo Antibody test against TPO for making decision about treatment option and correct doses of medication. It will be more worthwhile.
You should consult with your doctor for complete prescription and above said test. Repeat those tests after 4 weeks for monitoring.
Hope, I have answered your query. Wish your good health and take care.
