Is TSH Level Of 8.94 In An Infant Normal?

Is there any treatment required & anything to be worried?
You need not worry - But it will require follow up
Detailed Answer:
Hi....by what you quote I feel that as of now your kid doesn't require any medications or investigations.
My suggestions -
1. TSH is reliable only if done on or after 3rd day of life. Even then a value above 20 only is significant. So this is normal.... Don't worry.
2. Eyes being yellowish on 7yh day of life is also normal. Usually physiological jaundice progresses from head to toe and regresses from toes to head. So eye discoloration might be there fir another 7 days too. But in the 18.3 bilirubin if indirect component is more you need not worry, but if direct component is more, it requires immediate further evaluation.
3. Vitamin D supplements are quite essential... Please continue.
4. Kids of this age sleep almost 18 hours a day... Do not worry.
5. Babies of this age sometimes pass motion only once in 7-10 days also.
If I were your bany's pediatrician I would repeat a bilirubin test alone at 14 days of age and monitor growth and weight gain.
