Brief answer....4-8 weeks
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and would like to tell you that normal acceptable levels or normal levels of CDT are less than 1.7
If you stop taking alcohol completely, your CDT levels would come to normal levels in 4-8 weeks time.
I hope it helps, however you are most welcome to revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Thank you. If I just cut down on alcohol and kept to 3 x 125ml glasses of wine per day on average, how long would it take to reduce CDT to 1.7%.
I enjoy a glass of wine and would prefer not to give up completely.

Hello,
If you keep drinking alcohol then your CDT won't come to normal.
It would definitely reduce with less consumption of alcohol but won't come to normal .
Thanks
