YOu are wondering if the blue vessel you see on your leg is a varicose vein? Yes that blood vessel is a varicose vein. This is a dilated vein that shows up on the surface fo the skin. They are not dangerous the are more of a cosmetic issue that a painful condition. I would recommend wearing support hose in the future to reduce risk of more veins appearing .
