Question: I had a Brain MRI 4 months ago all normal . Lately been feeling a little lightheaded and off balance . New doc has orderd another MRI with and without contrast . Is this nessecary

Episodic lightheadnesd .,i have bulging and herniated disk in neck c4/5 and C6/c7 and stenosis could this be causing the ightheadness . Its haopens when i look down

Episodic lightheadedness may be due to postural hypotension, cardiac illness, cervical spondylosis.
Get your blood pressure measured. Neck isometric exercises for cervical problems.
Provide reports and images of previous Mri.
Take good amount of Fluids, avoid sudden change in posture and extreme neck movements.

The MRI shows changes of cervical spondylosis. No need to get another MRI if the symptoms have not progressed much or any weakness, sensory loss or wasting present in upper limbs.

Neck exercises can be started thereafter. It definitely helps in cervical spondylosis but should be learned under able physiotherapist.
