Brief Answer:
Post Prandial drug can be taken

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing to health care magic

Based on the history given, your fasting sugars are ok however that can be controlled to tighter levels that is around 90 or 100 by strict diet and exercise

Try to break up the meals and have lesser quantity during break fast, lunch, dinner and between meals you can have some snacks like butter milk, XXXXXXX biscuit(2 nos), cucumber, fruits like apple (1/2 piece), Guava(1)

Do daily exercise/walking for 30-45 minutes(please keep sugar tablets handy during the same and if you feel any hypoglycemic symptoms like, giddiness etc you can have it)

With regard to your after food sugar control, for patients with similar values I would have prescribed 0.1 mg Voglibose three times daily i.e one tablet to be taken before every main meal

Please follow the above advice and get back to me with the lab values i.e FBS, PPBs, sr creatinine and HBA1c after one month

Wish you good health

Lunch between 11;30 AND NOON CONSISTING OF 1.5 CHAPATIS , a vegetable and dal. Tea at 3:30 with biscuits or snacks . Dinner at 6:45 same as lunch.

Unfortunately I have not been walking or any physical exertion for about 4 years.Corns in sole of the feet prevent walking.
