Question: I have recently got the complete blood and urine test done for my wife. She is 55 years old. The only point I wish to check with you is that her urine Creatinine is 23.1 mg/dl (whereas normal range is 28-217 mg/dl. Here Creatinine - Serum is 0.68 (normal range 0.5-0.8 mg/dl). I am attaching herewith her complete blood/urine test reports (108 tests done). Please advise if everything is normal.

Brief Answer:
Don't worry.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The report is okay.

Urine creatinine just reflects the muscle mass in the person. She has a less muscle mass and thus has less urine creatinine. This is not a marker of a disease.

Rest assured, even urine protein content is normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Best wishes.
