Is A Lump In My Neck Like Swollen Lymph Nodes Along With Swollen Nodes In The Groin Area A Serious Concern?

Question: I notice some lump in my neck and my GP ask me to go for ultra sound. My ultrasound report mention that Subcentimeter survical lymph nodes notice with 3 small lymph nodes at posterior border of sternocleidomastoid. After this my GP told me nothing to worry it can be normal. But today i feel some lymph nodes in groin area, i feel 3 small (less than 1 vm) nodes in my lnguinal area.
I am terrified now because i dont have any infection and i cannot relate these lymph nodes with any of my health condition.
Can u please tell me is it common to feel groin and cervical lymph nodes because when i google my condition it scares me more with the results i found.
Thank you

Brief Answer:
PET CT scan should be done
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Lymph nodes found in different areas of your body is of great concern.
Generally swollen lymph nodes are found due to bacterial infection.
But since you are not having any infection i would advise you to do a PET CT scan to rule out any malignancy.
As your lymph nodes are small in size and less than 2 cm i think it is not cancerous

Dear Dr. Monish,
Thanks for your reply, last week i was having ear infection and my ENT told me my Eustachian Tube was also blocked, so is it possible to have these swollen lymph nodes due to this reason.
and is it possible to feel groin lymph nodes without any reason.
