Is A Lump On Neck Symptom Of HIV?
More likely due to infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The lump could easily be due to the sinus infection (more likely) or the trauma you suffered to your neck ma'am.
Please note, that if your boyfriend had HIV when you gave him oral sex, then he would test positive to the result. As his test returned a negative result, there is absolutely nothing to worry about ma'am.
For future reference, make sure you know your partner and avoid shifting from one to another. Be safe always and I am sure you can have fun and be safe for the rest of your life. For any clarifications, now or in the future you can write to me anytime and for anything, please do not hesitate.
For now, I am sure you are HIV-free and have nothing to worry about. For future reference, here is my direct link if at all you need to contact me anytime:

Yes, either the infection or trauma or both
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again young lady.
Yes, the swelling is most probably from the infection, or possibly even due to the trauma or both factors put together.
So do not worry, and make sure you keep yourself safe always. Select your partners and get to know them before you take a step forward in the relationship. For everything else, you can always write to me and I shall be at your service.
Best of luck and God bless.
Still think this is not HIV at all
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I am sure you have nothing to worry about. But if you wish for complete assurance, then go ahead with a HIV DUO test that can be conducted 28 days from the day of exposure.
Please make note, I am not suggesting this investigation to rule out HIV, but for your satisfaction. This investigation, when conducted after 28 days from the exposure is 98 % accurate.
But as I mentioned, this is most probably due to an infection or the trauma, you are safe in my opinion and I am sure if you decide to go ahead with the test, it will back me up.
Keep in touch for any further help, you can talk to me about anything. I am always here for you.
Best wishes.
Dehydration, low immunity,or oral thrush from meds
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again.
Yes, medications can give you oral thrush which should be adressed with the help of anti-fungal medication. If the white coat on your tongue still persists, then you should visit your doctor to help prescribe you with some anti-fungal medication. The white coat might still be persistent due to a low immunity also, which I am guessing is also the reason why you have developed the sinus infection, and have the continuing post-nasal drip.
Dehydration is also one common cause in younger adults, so make sure you are well hydrated as well. Please visit your doctor for an oral cavity examination and if he/she feels it warrants a general blood investigation, please go ahead with the same.
I hope this helps, and I also hope all your symptoms soon subside so you can continue to live a healthy life ahead. Please do not forget that I am always here to help.
Best wishes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am.
Your immunity seems to be at a low, which is why the post-nasal drip still persists and so does the white coating. You should eat well and try to initiate a short course (15 days) of any over-the-counter multi-vitamins available to help boast your immunity. Keep yourself well hydrated, and write back to me in 15 days if these methods do not help and the white coat still persists. Take a picture of your tongue and attach it to our discussion if at all the white coat does not resolve in 15 days time.
Take care my friend.
