The description given by you could be either an inflammatory pre-auricular lymph node or an intra-parotid lymph node. Cancer is very unusual at your age.

I would suggest you to get an ultrasound done to identify the origin and internal morphology of the swelling.

If it is a mere inflammatory lymph node, a short course of oral antibiotics can help in clear the swelling.
