Raised on surface? - Yes.
Irregularity of edges? - Not sure. looks exactly like in the image
Itching? - No.
Or any other symptoms? - Skin on the mole gets hardens every now and then. Which I can peel off (Just like how the skin gets when you get injured)
Any lymph nodes in the inguinal region (in the crease that joins thigh with abdomen? - No.
But I do have a lot of fat lumps all over my body (few on my right hand, few over my stomach)

Hi,
As per the history that you have provided you are not sure about size, the skin peels off, the photos show irregular margin with a small outpouching or growth my thoughts are as follows:
Although this is a mole it is impossible to say whether this is benign or cancerous.
Secondly, this is on a thigh and you have noticed for the last 2 - 3 years hence it may be difficult have watch-and-wait policy.
I would strongly suggest to go for total excision and send it for confirmatory histopathology.
This will help in two ways.
You get rid off something that is difficult to follow with.
And we get confirmed report.
Fat masses that is lipomas are benign and not related the black mole. These can be kept under observation.. Excision biopsy is done if: they enlarge faster, cause pain, are on joints or pressure points.
I hope this answer helps you in decision making.
Please give feedback and feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
