Questions
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for the query and picture.
While it is important to know if there is a high risk exposure to a HIV infected individual and the duration since the exposure, there are few questions to be considered
Do you have other HIV related symptoms like fever, body pains, cough like that of any viral or mono infection.
When was the last time you had unprotected intercourse with an HIV possible person?
Is it itchy?
The picture that you sent can present as HIV rash. However even contact dermatitis, other viral infections can present with such rash.
It is better for you to get the ELISA for HIV if the encounter is more than 4 weeks.
Let me know your thoughts and other information.

Brief Answer:
Suggest ELISA for HIV
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In the wake of a risk exposure with an unknown person it is better to get an ELISA test for HIV antibodies after one month of exposure, i.e two weeks from now.
Till then i will treat it as urticarial rash. Apply CALAMINE lotion over the area and do not attempt to scratch. Use soft cotton clothes, avoid new experiments with food and detergents as they may cause some urticarial rash.
Hope this helps.
