Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.
This type of wound at your age could be due to so many causes,so before giving my opinion about it,I want to know about your symptoms and want to see the image ( if possible).
Are you sexually active?
Taking any medicine?
Any history of any trauma?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck
Regards

taking valtrex (in case it's herpes but lab results were negative), brio for asthma, restasis for eyes, multi-vitamins.
sexual only with husband.
no trauma. have been diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome.
open red sore on vulva, sometimes bleeds a little, tender around the entire area, itchy at times. Have had herpes in that area and that's what I thought it would be this time around but lab doesn't confirm.

It could be due to Sjogren's syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In my opinion, it is due to Sjogren's syndrome (recurrent vaginal infection may occur)or it could be due to infection caused by fungus as well. ( superimposed with bacterial infection).
You can use over the counter antifungal medicine for the same.
Hope you found this useful.
Good luck
