Is A Resting Heart Rate Of 84 Normal?

Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
I understand your concern and would explain that your heart rate values seem to be within the normal ranges.
So, considering also the fact that all your performed cardiac tests have resulted normal, there is nothing to worry about!
Coming to this point, I would just recommend following a healthy lifestyle, with a balanced diet (Mediterranean diet is recommendable) and a lot of physical activity (walking, aerobics, recreational sports, etc.).
Considering your anxiety, which can also raise heart rate values, I would recommend avoiding caffeine intake and practicing Yoga, which is a natural stress relief.
It is also necessary avoiding alcohol intake and smoking contacts.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
I also notice when I turn over at night my heart speeds up but then will come back down to my 84 bpm. Is that ok?
I’m just so nervous about it

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!
Yes, this is quite normal.
You should know that physical activity (including body movements), as well as anxiety can stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, causing an increase in the plasma levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline, leading to increased heart rate.
So, this is just a normal physiological reaction, which occurs in every healthy individual.
There is nothing to worry about!
Hope to have clarified some of your uncertainties!
Wishing all the best,
Dr. Iliri
