Is A Singing Performance Advisable 4 Months After Intubation?

Question: I was intubated in July of this year. I am a singer. Will I be able to perform by this November
Brief Answer:
You should be able to saying by the end of this year.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM. However remember that when you're intubated, different levels of injuries can occur. Some people report a change in the tone, depth and tone of their voice. Most for people will recover to full normal phonation. I pray that this is the same for you. If you are really concerned, a speech therapist is somebody you may want to visit with, as they are better able to test and see how your voice recoveries are proceeding. Good luck and take care.
