Is A Small Bone Under The Skin Behind The Throat A Concern?

Behind my Uvula in my throat on the wall behind it (it is perfectly centered, and is smooth like a bone as well) i notice there is a bone there under the skin it feels like it might be apart of the normal anatomy - it isnt coloured or painful - like a small lump but it's the consistency of a bone and feels like it's apart of my throat. I am just wondering it it's normal to feel a bone in that region. I've noticed it before in the past but I am a hypochondriac so I just want to make sure that it's normal to have a bone in that region for peace of mind. If not, i can head to the doctors.
No visible bones there, but variation of the normal anatomy can be possible

Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
Will you be able to upload a picture in our system, so I can have a look at it?
Generally there is not visible bones there, but there are little bumps in the back of the throat, which are part of the normal anatomy.
Also, variations of the normal anatomy are pretty common as well. If it is how you have had it for a long time, if it doesn't bother you while swallowing and if it is not changing, then you have nothing to worry about.
Keep an eye on it. See if it changes, but I doubt it will.
I would recommend seeing a local doctor, only if it changes, hurts, causes problems while you swallow.
Hope this is helpful.
