Brief Answer:
inflammatory hyperplasia, stone, Occlusal radiograph

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

As far as the soft tissue growth or soft tissue tag is concerned, it can be an inflammatory hyperplasia secondary to any irritation by a stone. Nothing to be panic, you can consult an oral physician and get it evaluated. You need to get an Occlusal radiograph (mandibular cross sectional)(X ray) to rule out the presence of stone. It's a benign lesion and harmless. If you have any reduced salivary secretion or dry mouth then you need to worry. So consult the oral physician and get the X ray done, upload the images so that I can give exact diagnosis and treatment plan.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any queries reply me back.
take care.

i don't have reduced salivary secretion sir..Its just a soft tissue growth on one side of submandibular duct..No problem in chewing or anything..Is x ray essential or should i.leave it as such and watch it overtime.Regards

Brief Answer:
if it is asymptomatic leave it like that

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is not an emergency issue, you can observe for some time. if it increases in size or any other symptoms like pain or reduced salivary secretion then you can get the X ray and treatment done. If it is asymptomatic you can leave it like that and keep observing for any change in size.

Brief Answer:
indicates stone in the duct, surgical intervention

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

If there is a pain or reduced salivary secretion, it indicates a stone within the salivary gland duct. At that time, you have to get it surgically removed.
