Brief Answer:
SOL means "Space Occupying Lesion". Could be anything, needs clarity

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

SOL simply stands for "SPACE OCCUPYING LESION"

Which means, there is something in the breast which is abnormal.

It can be a simple cyst.

It can be a fibroadenoma (A benign fibro fatty lump).

It can be a cancerous growth.

It can be an abscess (Collection of pus).

The person who has done the ultrasound scan seems to be very inexperienced and has not provided any clarity as to what is the nature of that lesion.

I suggest you to kindly consult a general surgeon and get your daughter examined well by the surgeon.

Then the surgeon will advice the next steps to be taken, which may include an X-ray or ultrasound scanning or fine needle aspiration cytology.

I hope this answers your query, please feel free to write back if you have any doubts.

Best regards
