Brief Answer:
Please provide more information, you may require antidiabetic drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX Swain
Welcome to Health Care Magic, I have gone through your question and reports you have attached with it very diligently and I will definitely try to guide you in best possible way.

Looking at your reports you have high fasting and post prandial blood sugar level with high HbA1C level along with borderline high LDL cholesterol and fatty liver grade 1 on ultrasound.

Here I would like further information for better assessment of the condition like
Your weight, height and BMI

Do you smoke or consume liquor?

Do you have family history of diabetes

Are you having any of these symptoms like increased appetite, frequent urination or fatigue?
Are you taking any other medicine?

I would advise you for strict dietary restriction to 1800 kcal,

you should avoid sugar, sweets and fatty food
Try to have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables
Exercise regularly as much you can comfortably do
You should also practice yoga and meditation

You may require antidiabetic drugs under medical supervision.

Please write back to me with these details, I have asked for, so that I will be able to tell you more accurately.

Waiting for your reply
Best wishes

I had never any symptoms of high Sugar. Hence I had some doubt on my report. I got my sugar checked again today from a different pathologist. Although the fasting level shows high, similar to last week report. the PP seems to be normal. Last time I was given a glass of glucose before PP and today I took a full meal (Rice+Dal) before PP. What could be the reason for this huge difference? Should I rely on old or new report?

Also to answer your previous questions, my BMI is little skewed, Height 165 CM, Weight 75 Kgs. I do not smoke. Liquor consumption is not regular. Last time I took during 1st week of January after a gap of 7-8 months. I have normal appetite, I do not take much sugar, don't like coke/ice cream etc. My sleeping pattern is irregular due to work pressure. Usually I take 6 hrs of sleep in night, sometimes 5 hrs. Stress level high in last 6 months, due to work pressure. No fatigue. Urination is normal, but more frequent under stress. I do a walk of 4 KM daily morning, but was discontinued for 4-5 months, just started again 2 weeks back.

No family history of diabetics.

Brief Answer:
Either repeat this after 2 to 4 weeks or go for GTT.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr Swain,
Welcome again and thanks for all the details

Your weight is slightly on the higher side, your BMI is 27.54

Since you are physically active and seems quite motivated to adopt healthy lifestyle so I would advise you for dietary restrictions to 1800 kcal per day and regular physical exercise.

You should avoid sugar and sweets in your diet.
you should practice yoga and meditation.

Your both the reports are contradictory so I would advise you to follow these measures and repat this test blood sugar fasting and post prandial with HbA1c or glucose tolerance test(GTT) after 2 to 4 weeks.

Hope I could answer your question.
Please do let me if you have any more queries.

Best wishes
