Is Abdominal Pain Indicative Of Worm Infestation?
Question: What are the signs of tapeworm? My pet has been diagnosied with this and I have a weakened immune system and fear I have it also. I have just recently seen worms in stool white round capules in shape..I have a rash on body I have abdominal pain when I go to rest room I recently noticed I will be possibly constipated and then when bowel movement begins will be hard and then go to very loose stool and have cramps..now after eating I frequently have to go to bathroom. I have headaches. A funny taste in mouth sometimes metal like I am thirsty and I want salty things. Also I get sick feeling like I am going to throw up after eating I gained about 10 pounds very quickly about 2 months ago and could not fill up...I am now losing weight..I have been under extreme stress last 2 months mother was extremely sick and I stayed numerous days and nights in hospital so I know my immune system is very weak.

Complete blood count
Total and differential leucocyte count
Rx
Take tablet albendazole 400 mg once daily at night for 5 days.
Tab Ivermectin 8 mg once daily for 1 day both are for worms.
Start taking Zithromax(Azithromycin 500 mg once daily) and secnidazole 1 gram daily for 5 days.
Along with it take Fybrogel husk, It will increase the bulk of your stools. Take a probiotic like vizylac daily for a few weeks.
