Is An Allergy On The Left Thigh That Itches Only Upon Touching That Part Of The Skin A Serious Concern?

As shown in the pic, I am having some allergy on my left thigh. This was developed a day before, yesterday I observed one mark but today observed one another. It doesn’t itch automatically, but if I touch it then it itches. The two pics attached refers to 2 different spots on the same left thigh. Today I also observed 2-3 small red spots.
I took one tablet of cetirizine tonight and also applied Abzorb anti fungal powder on the affected areas twice today. Kindly suggest how it might have happened? And what could be the possible solution?

Insect bite dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection most probably
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I read history you provided and reviewed the photos. Then I could conclude that probably you may be having insect bite dermatitis with secondary bacterial infection. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment.
However, I would suggest:
- Continue with the tab. Levocetirizine 5 mg daily at night till itch is relieved
- An antibiotic like Cephalexin 500 mg twice a day for a week
- Oral steroids like Methylprednisolone in a tapering dose
- Apply antibiotic cream like Gentamicin cream on the lesion
All these are strictly prescription based medications and you need to see a local doctor in order to get them
- Do not prick the lesion
- Avoid soap bath
- Dettol liquid may be used for cleansing
- Keep away from insects
I hope this would help you. if any query still, you are welcome.
Thanks.
