Brief Answer:
Elevated ALT

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You had blood work done recently and you ALT was mildly elevated. This is not a very large elevation and since all your other liver functions were normal I would not be worried about this number. I would recommend that you repeat your test in 3-4 months. During this time period avoid alcohol and if you are over weight loss weight. Being over weight will cause fat to deposit in the liver and cause liver cells to die off which causes the elevated ALT. By just reducing weight watching your fat intact and alcohol you can reverse the liver damage.
