Is An Unexplained Bitter Taste On My Tongue A Symptom Of Something Being Wrong?
Question: Hi I've had an unexplained bitter taste on my tongue. Came out of nowhere. No other symptoms.
Brief Answer:
A number of causes
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This could be due to acid reflux (GERD) which can be relieved by taking Omeprazole once daily and ranitidine before every meal. This also could be a sign of diabetes, so I would recommend that you get a blood test for testing blood glucose levels both fasting and postprandial. Another reason could be dehydration so I would recommend that you keep yourself adequately hydrated.
