Is Barium Enema Safe When Suffering From Diverticular Abscess?
Question: I am having a barium enema soon and am concerned as I have a diverticular abscess which has been drained and now remains there uninfected and about 5cm square. Do I need to let the radiologist know? Are there any risks I should try to manage/be aware of?
Thank you for your guidance
