Is Birth Defect A Risk Factor During Second Pregnancy?
Question: Hi.. Hi have an abortion with 13 weeks in July'2015 due to unhealthy baby , now i am 6 week pregnant again and have not gone through ultra sound yet, What is the chances of repeat the same thing. what is the chances of having a healthy baby this time. Earlier pregnancy with through I.U.I. and this time is a natural pregnancy

I understand your anxiety related to the issue but there is nothing to worry like this for this pregnancy.
There are about 2-4% chances of abnormalities in next baby if the previous baby was congenitally malformed but this ratio decreases in young females and in spontaneous pregnancies.
So keep taking folic acid tablet daily and get regular ultrasound at specific time as advised by your gynaecologist.

When i visited doctor when i missed periods, he has told me that it is depends on ultra sound at 7 weeks, depends on whether the heart beat is normal or not. The doctor has not said this thing in previous pregnancy, i think doctor has doubt. and also in test card the second line was light pink coloured, kindly suggest.

Hi.. I Have gone through Ultra Sound today, the fetas size was 0.246 CM and as per doctor is the size is less than the ideal size and suggested to take HCG and asked to come for ultra sound on 25th Feb, Pls note my last period date was 25th Dec.
