Brief Answer:
Can you upload an image please
Detailed Answer:
Hi...I understand your concern. Can you please upload an image, so that I can assess the bleeding and get back to you.
I feel there is bleeding because of early detachment of cord.
I have a few questions for you -
1. Is there any family history of bleeding disorder?
2. How's the baby's activity and feeding otherwise?
3. Is there any fever?
4. Was there any history of trauma or clot removal or clot falling off from the cord site?
Regards - Dr. Sumanth

2. if there is redness around the umbilicus or if there is swelling there and continuous blood discharge - then you need to see the doctor again.
As of now Neosporin will do.
