Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your actual blood pressure values are above the normal ranges.

But a single blood pressure value does not necessarily indicate uncontrolled high blood pressure. It could also be related to physical or emotional stress.

So, I would recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure in the next days (in sitting position after 10 minutes of total relax) and write them down.

If your blood pressure values are above 135/85 mm Hg most of the time, this would indicate uncontrolled high blood pressure.

In such case, you should discuss with your attending physician on the possibility of making some changes in your actual therapy (increase the dose or metoprolol and losartan or even add other anti-hypertensive drugs like calcium channel blockers) in order to have a better control of your blood pressure values.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
