Posted on Thu, 27 Oct 2016
Question: OK. Recently I had a physical. My blood pressure is listed at 130/88. As of the past few months I've been having headaches. They start in the morning( very slight) and increase through out the day. In the evenings I've noticed shortness in breath ( almost like a weight on my chest). It should also be know that I had a stroke early in life.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

The headache and pain isn't related to BP issues but most likely is related to neurological issues.

Since you had a stroke early in your life you should schedule a neurologist consultation.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations to find out what is causing your symptoms:
- Cervical spine x-ray
- Eeg
- Head CT scan

Hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
