Brief Answer:
Body ache is common in most women.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Body ache is quite COMMON before period among most women. It is often associated with Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) and Dysmenorrhea - pain during period.

Some lifestyle changes will probably help you to feel better:

1) Take easy digestible balanced diet and foods rich in calcium. Include whole grains, protein, low-fat dairy, fruits and vegetables.

2) Do light exercise and avoid stress through meditation or yoga. keep bowel habit regular.

3) Cut back on caffeine, alcohol, chocolate and salt in the 2nd half of cycle (every month).

4) For pain, Ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory medicine can be taken. Hot water bag compression or hot shower bath is also helpful.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish your good health and take care yourself.
