Is Borderline Liver Blood Test Report A Matter Of Concern?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: My liver bloodtest was borderline. I have to go back for a further bloodtest. What will they look for? Should I be concerned? I'm 37 years old
Brief Answer:
Nothing to be concerned...
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
If your liver blood test was borderline, there is nothing to be concerned.
You should repeat test to evaluate if there might be changes in liver enzymes levels (increase). So, we can judge better why the first liver blood test was borderline.
As there are many factors contributing in changes in liver blood test, I advise to:
- avoid drinking alcohol
- if you are overweight, try to lose weight
- follow a healthy diet and lifestyle regimen (healthy foods, more physical activity)
All the best!
