Brief Answer:
She can start breast feeding

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.

From your query it seems that your wife has breast abscess. Mostly it is recommended not breast feed from the affected breast as long as the abscess is present.

If the affected gland and duct have been removed by surgery then there is not harm in breast feeding from that breast again. The surgeon will be better able to tell about the type of surgery performed and if she can breast feed.

Hope I made it clear. Let me know if you have any doubts.
