I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Your heart issues are already excluded other potential causes should be sought as well.

First respiratory function should be investigated. Your chronic lung problems, asbestosis could be the reasons for your actual complaints.

In order to exclude/confirm an important respiratory dysfunction besides a chest X ray study, pulmonary function tests are recommended.

In addition, anemia, possible thyroid dysfunction or a potential acute inflammatory disorder/infection (most probably pulmonary infection) o even uncontrolled high blood pressure bouts should be sought

In this regard, additional lab tests are advisable as follows:

- complete blood count,
- PCR & ESR,
- thyroid hormones level,
- blood electrolytes level,
- frequent blood pressure monitoring

You should discuss with your doctor on the above-mentioned issues.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
