Is Brownish Green Stool While On Hydrocodone Bitstrate For Pain A Concern?

Question: fell on my back on cement floor X-rays showed spine ok i am taking hydrocodone/apap for pain for 14 days and my poop is brownish green could this be from the pain medicine, I still am having lots of pain the poop does have what looks like small flakes in it. i have to take stool softeners and miralax and some laxative some because of constipatuon from medicine

Brownish Green color stools with small flakes usually are sign of poor digestion of stools. Also use of laxatives increases the intestinal transit of food leading to poor digestion.
Also the medication you are taking hydrocodone bitstrate can contribute to color of stools.
You have to continue with hydrocodone for 14 days and maybe increase the dose a little bit if it is insufficient to relieve you for pain.
Your doctor should lower the dose of hydrocodone gradually to tapper better withdrawal symptoms of it because it is a narcotic medication.
