Is Budding Body Mass Despite Regular Work Out In A Young Male A Concern?
More information needed
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I understand your concern and after carefully reviewing the pictures you have attached I feel I need more information in order to provide a more accurate answer.
First of all, I would exclude the possibility of body fat since you do not appear to be overweight. A plausible explanation would be that it is budding muscle mass given that you refer to work out every day.
However, in order to rule out gynaecomastia I would need to know when you first notice this.
Is it symmetrical on both sides?
Do you feel a mass or lump underneath upon touch? Is it painful?
Depending on the answers to the above questions, I would also perform an ultrasound and order bloodwork panel to test for liver and kidney disease, as well thyroid disease.
Please feel free to get back to me with the answers so I could give you a more accurate feedback.
Wishing you good health and all the best.
Ultrasound recommended
Detailed Answer:
Sorry for the delay in my response,
I recommend you do an ultrasound to rule out any malignancy and a blood work panel to rule out gynaecomastia.
I hope this answers your question. You are welcome to ask further questions and follow up with blood work results.
Wishing you good health and all the best.
