Is Burning And Itching In A Scab Around The Rectum Area Normal?

Question: Three weeks ago I developed a rash on around my rectum(either side of crack). Two weeks ago, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with infaitaogo and prescribed a cream to help with the scab. The scab is gone but i still noticed that I still have some a bit of burning or itching around the rectim area. Is this normal? The scab is mostly gone but I know that the area in question is dark and normally a little moist. Could this be making it heal slower? I'm starting to get a little worried.
Brief Answer:
Normal to have itching & burning, no need to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
Yes it is normal to have slight itching and burning even after the scab sheds as the healing phase is going on.
I don't think there is any need to worry.
It will take few more days to resolve.
Do you mean you were diagnosed with impetigo?
You can upload the photographs of the affected area so that I can have a look at it and can guide you further.

Yes. I meant impetigo. Autocorrect on my phone. I was also using wet wipes (cottonelle) around the time I got the infection. I got curious and found out that a lot of people who use those wipes got similar rashes in the same place as me.
Brief Answer:
Can take antihistaminics
Detailed Answer:
You seem to have developed post inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
The darkness will go away on its own.
For itching and burning you can take antihistaminics like tablet Loratidine 10 mg or tablet Chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg once daily for few days.
