Is Burning Sensation While Eating Spicy Food Signs Of Mouth Cancer?
Submucosal fibrosis, needs evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. I would like to ask you few more details.
Is there any difficulty in opening of mouth ?
Is your burning sensation associated with difficulty in swallowing ?
Kindly get back to me with details.
As per your clinical details, it appears to be
1. submucosal fibrosis (common in ghutka eaters)- fibrosis will cause trismus (unable to open the mouth) and burning sensation. (leaving ghutka will not help in established fibrosis).
2. Nutritional deficiencies ( iron, folic acid), or acid reflex.
I suggest you to consult an ENT surgeon and get detailed ENT examination, laryngoscopy (acid laryngitis, sub mucosal fibrosis ), blood tests (nutritional deficiencies). Treatment can be started according to the investigations.
Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
submucosal fibrosis- requires evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.
With your details, it appears to be a problem in oral cavity (sub mucosal fibrosis).
You may require multivitamins, antioxidants and if necessary fibrolytic injections as a course. I advise you to see a nearby ENT surgeon. He/she will know about the evaluation.
Hope, I have answered your query.
Take care.
