Question: hello doctor. ..my wife is 7 mnth pregnant....can she travell in her 9th month by car for 100km....all her reports are normal

I understand your concern..

It is always better to avoid journey in the last trimester because of the chance of membrane rupture and chance of preterm labour..

But if travelling is unavoidable, you can travel by train.It is safe as she can lie down and take a walk in between.. Car travelling without jerky movements is preffered. Stopping in between to have a walk and taking food is important.Drink lots of water and keep a check on fetal movements..
