Brief Answer:
Life style modification for 3 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Firstly thanks for choosing health care magic for your query!

Normal cholestrol level is less then 200mg/dl.
217mg/dl is borderline elevated cholestrol.

Though risky but can be easily controlled by life style modification!
As you age is just 29 ,severe life style modification should be adapted to prevent risk of cardiac events in future.

Strenous exercise for atleast 45minutes a day for 6days a week should be done,by strenous it means that at the end of initial 15 minutes you should be sweating.
Brisk walking at a speed not less then 5.1km per hour should be done for atleast 20minutes a day.
If you are a smoker ,stop smoking.
50ml of alcohol can be taken twice a week.
Add lots of fibres to your diet.
Dont eat butter, ghee, peanut oil or mustard oil instead use saffola ,rice XXXXXXX oil and olive oil in cooking.
Avoid dairy products like cheese paneer ,instead use low fat dairy products.
Include lot of vegetable in your diet.
Don't eat red meat or egg yolk.
A natural product called PRELIPID is available in XXXXXXX market, which contains natural seed extracts from flax and other herb, have proved to improved dyslipidemia significantly in three months ,if you are in XXXXXXX you can try it.
Follow this aggressively for 3 months ,and repeat a lipid profile after that,in case cholestrol is still high we would start you with low dose of statins .

In case you have any other query feel free to ask!
