Thank you for asking
Chronic ventricular encephalopathy indicates dementia Irrespective of the cause. But many medications like immunosuppressants may cause that too.so can hypertension and GI manifestations like celiac disease etc may also cause that. Most likely a vascular dementia.
Considering your age i want you to know that people with such risks have 5 year survival odds of 39% .
Nut shell Get to a neurologist and let them decide what is best for you.
I hope it helps.take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
May the odds be ever in your favour.

I TAKE FROM THIS ANSWER THAT I HAVE A 60% POSSIBILITY OF DYING WITHIN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS. THAT PRETTY DEPRESSING I MUST SAY. AT THE MOMENT I HAVE NO SYMTOMS OF DEMENTIA. I TRAVEL AND LIVE OVERSEAS AND HANDLE ALL BUSINESS MATTERS AT HOME. I AM NEVER CONFUSED.
Brief Answer:
Dont be please, get to a neurologist
Detailed Answer:
hello Again Dear!
As i mentioned There are many possibilities. as your symptoms are stable so there might be better news. One MRI is never enough to clinically correlate. I explained the worst case scenario. Hope for the best.Get to a neurologist and let them correlate it clinically and get to the depth of the situation.
I repeat don't be depressed. Get a neurologist for further management.
I hope it soothes the nerve.
Take care
