Is Coconut Oil A Sperm Friendly Lubricant?

Question: Hallo Doctor,
I am 40 years of age and my wife is 33 year old. We have no baby till date. we are planning for that. We are doing sexual intercourse from D10 to D20 for last 2 months. During sexual intercourse i use coconut oil on my penis as lubricant for smooth penetration. Without lubricant both of us feel pain. I want to know that whether use of coconut oil as lubricant may cause a problem for my wife for being pregnant. Kindly suggest me from your valuable suggest. What should we do for early pregnancy.

Brief Answer:
Conception problems
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query
Any mineral or vegetable oil is contraindicated as it can interfere with conception. Neither any jelly should be used.
My advice is you should use a good foreplay before any action. If it doesn't work, you should get yourself examined by an urologist. Your wife should visit a gynaecologist. In case of non conception, some investigations might be required.
Any further questions are always welcome.
Thanks and regards
