Brief Answer:
ICSI is the norm

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns about infertility.

Either ICSI or IVF can be done for blocked fallopian tubes.

1) IVF ( In vitro fertilization) is a process where in sperms are left around egg where sperms should make an effort to enter egg and fertilize. Sperms need to be healthy, plenty in number and motile to be able to enter egg and fertilize.

2) ICSI (intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) is a technique where in each egg is held and injected with sperm under microscope. This is useful in cases of low sperm motility, count and morphology.

Now a days ICSI is the norm as majority hospitals perform ICSI directly instead of IVF to prevent fertilization failure.
