Is Congestion In Sinuses And Throat Irritation Symptoms Of Lung Cancer?

possibility of lung cancer is very less.
Detailed Answer:
Hi madam, thanks for your query.
Analyzing your symptoms I feel probably you have residual congestion in your sinuses and throat causing throat irritation and cough.
One month old cough, after a upper respiratory tract infection is less likely to be because of lung cancer.
I don't think you have any symptoms suggestive of lung cancer.
If I were your treating doctor I would have prescribed antihistamines with mucolytic+expectorant cough syrup for one to 2 week. If symptoms persists for more than 2 weeks, then I would want to evaluate you - blood test, sputum analysis absolute eosinophil count to rule out allergy , chest x ray, mantoux test and ESR to rule out TB.
Don't worry I don't think you have lung cancer. But it is worthwhile consulting a doctor. You can be started on similar medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Pleased to help you further.
Regards......
