Is Constant Burning In Lower Stomach And Groin Pull Symptoms Of Hernia?

Question: I have all symptoms of hernia however two doctors told me I don't have one. I never had an x-ray . My symptoms include fairly constant burning feeling and some times feels as if lower stomach needs to be "pushed" back in. Also feels like a bad groin pull on both sides. At times when I "push" it back I can actually hear it moving around which is pretty scary. Also fairly constant pain in lower abdomen usually associated with physical activity. I feel it if I cough or sneeze. I am 57 with 6 herniated disks in my neck started doing BIKRAM hot yoga to help with numbness in hands and feet and think Hernia is the result....
Brief Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM
Detailed Answer:
You described some typical symptoms of hernia but is not easily diagnosed and some other conditions may be considered in the differential diagnosis. It can be rectus diastasis, abdominal lipoma, obesitiy or some intrabdominal pathology: stomach bloating, hepatomegaly, IBDs. Xrays isnt good test for hernias. you need to do ultrasound or CT scan and it will show exact diagnosis which can be treated then. Till you do this, you should avoid weight lifiting, regulate body weight and avoid unhealthy food. pain in lower abdomen is mainly caused by ganaecolgic or urinary disorders so you should do urine analysis and pelvic ultrasound. Wish you good health. Regards
