Question: Hi, I am currently taking Metronidazole.. I have not had any since this mornings dose in the hospital.. Had to wait for script and it got too close to this evenings dose.. My wonderful husband made rissoto, which was delicious but also had 3/4 cup of masala wine inthe the whole recipe. I ate about 1/2 cup portion.. Will I have any side effects? I have NOTmtaken this evenings dose yet. Thank you. Nervous. PS... I also have AFib.

Brief Answer:
supportive care and slight precautions

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

i read your question and i understand your concern. With use of metronidazole i presume it was some gut infection, use of spicy food was not a bad idea but with the quantity you mentioned, i presume its not much so no worries, and it won't interact with metronidazole tablet so you can take it in time, and avoid missing any pill in future. COmpliance is very important and speedy step in recovery. Afib has nothing to do with this scenario so no worries for that.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
