Is Consumption Of Gasoline A Cause For Concern?

Question: I don't pump gas so I asked the gas attendant to pump the gas for me - I handed him my credit card and he handed me back the receipt. Lets say being he works for a gas station what if he had a little of gasoline on his hands and it got on my receipt or my credit card and I put the credit card back in my wallet and I put the r3ceipt in my pocketbook if some gas got on my hands from touching the card and receipt and I touched other things could that harm me. Do the pump nozzles sometimes get gasoline on them????

The first thing I would suggest is not to panic. Even if I assume that a small amount of gasoline got smeared on the credit card or the receipt and even if some of it got on your hands directly or indirectly, it would not pose any health hazard and should not be a cause for concern.

Pump nozzles could indeed get gasoline on them accidentally but I do not think that you need to worry about it.

However, let me emphasize on the significance of proper hand washing. You can just google out for the proper handwashing techniques/steps. Be sure to wash hands before each meal.
