Question: Can I take tea in jaundice? My bilirubin is now 2.3 and was 16.5 when diagnosed?

Understand your concern
Your billirubin is 2.3 mg/dl. It is just above high level.
You are in recovery phase.

You can take tea but add little milk.
Continue tablets heaptagon, udiliv 300 and liv 52 syrup.
Take following diet advice:
Take low fat diet and high carbohydrated diet.
Avoid spicy, salty and oily food. (Avoid outside food)
Home made fresh juice, green leafy salad and vegetables (boiled vegetables)
Avoid junk food and non vegetarian food.
Drink lukewarm water.

Dear doctor
Hello and thank you very much for the suggestions but sir I am confused about the diet in jaundice because the people I am meeting with whom these days saying about the diet like you described but in hospital (Max delhi) where I was admitted for 7or 8 days, I got proper diet in that they gave me 3 small chapattis, 2 veggies, toned curd, salads and rice.
Please advise me about this.

Do not worry.
Chapattis and rice: High carbohydrate food
Veggies and salad: Contain green leafy vegetables (Generally hospital food is less oily and less spicy)
No problem in toned curd milk as it contain low fat and easy to digest
