Is Crying After Breast Feeding In A New Born A Cause For Concern?
Question: My baby is 15 days old and he is crying continuously after feeding also.What could be the reason behind this?

The child may also cry due to abdominal distension which occurs as the child ingests air along with feeds. This can be taken care of by proper burping. You need to hold the child in erect posture (head end raised) for about 15-20 mins after each feed. If that does not help giving Colicaid Drops usually takes care of the crying which occurs due to colic. Children may also cry due to hunger, improper temperature, craving for mother or any other cause. The underlying condition needs to be managed suitably.
