Is Dark Stool In A Cardiac Patient A Cause For Concern?
Question: Although I have had cardiac issues seven years ago, I have had no problems for several years. I underwent a successful triple bypass and together with daily medication I have experienced no further cardio problems.
Two weeks ago I noticed my stool was becoming very dark. No blood and not "tarry". However, it is not lightening, How serious is this?
Thanks, YYYY@ YYYYY.YYY
