Is Dark Urine A Sign Of Dehydration Or Is It Blood In Urine?
Question: I am a 69 yo male in good health except periodically I get dark urine and my last doctors visit they told me I was a little dehydrated and drink more water.no problem with my urine or blood work on that visit a year ago. YYYY@YYYY

Other causes can be liver disorders,urinary infections,specific foods like blackberries or beets etc.
Based on the fact that your last examinations were a year ago I suggest you to repeat them:
-complete blood count
-urinalysis
-bilirubin level and
-levels of AST and ALT to control the function of the liver
